Acromegaly
From SNPedia
Acromegaly is a rare disease caused by overproduction of growth hormone by the pituitary gland, often because of a tumor. The condition may progress slowly for many years, gradually changing the person's appearance, particularly the hands and face. Some adults with acromegaly also grow taller. It is generally not an inherited condition. Wikipedia
