Infliximab is the generic name for a chimeric monoclonal antibody targeting (and thus inhibiting) the tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF). Infliximab is most commonly used for the the treatment of psoriasis, Crohn's disease, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, sarcoidosis and ulcerative colitis.
