Scoliosis

Scoliosis, also known as curvature of the spine, is more common in adolescent girls than boys. It affects about 3 percent of children, but in most cases does not lead to complications other than back pain.
A few SNPs show some statistical (not causative) association with scoliosis; these include:

- rs11190870 located 3' to the LBX1 gene
- rs6570507 in the GPR126 gene
