Did 23andMe do a deal with Illumina? yes.

Can anyone please add some details about the file format of the raw data ? I wrote some lines about raw data format for deCODEme data, and I am interested in the format of 23andMe data.

Thanks for posting this. My intention is to work with the data files as they are delivered. What you posted is uncompressed data. I would be interested to know how the delivered file looks exactly (file extension, compression method, naming conventions). I know this sounds like nit picking, but an automated application should work with the data exactly as it is delivered. jk 9 March 2008

agreed. For the moment this is the best I know. deCODEme does a full zip file thing. I think 23andMe does just a simple text file. Can any 23andMe users confirm? Cariaso 18:02, 9 March 2008 (CDT)
