This was way too scarily written. My look at the research indicates this particular SNP (the gene itself is a different question -- other SNPs and mutations have been examined) likely doesn't have much of an independent effect on Alzheimer's (or mortality) risk. --User:Epsilon4 2014-11-15 12:02 (UTC)
