Advocacy?[edit]
First, Carl, thanks for your excellent work here! I, and am sure many others, have benefited greatly.
I'm a HUGE supporter of the SENS project, but when I see the call for support on this page, I get a sense that it's sort of out of place in some way, that it doesn't fit with the "here are the facts" tone of the rest of SNPedia.
Just a comment. I agree with the notion of supporting SENS so much (LEF, less so), that it's hard for me to suggest removing your comment!!

- I've moved some of the text around. SNPedia would like to keep the SNP and Genotype pages (which become visible in Promethease reports) focused on factual statements, but help to encourage users to 'dig deeper'. I applaud SENS for focusing on an important research topic, but feel that it approaches a dangerous area. By selling supplements LEF has crossed the line beyond good science, and is too close to snakeoil. I don't imagine that my current draft is authoritative, and welcome community help to iterate this towards an interesting and responsible page. --- cariaso 01:46, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
