Consistently, when we further classified children into age groups of those aged less than 5 years, those aged 5 to 10 years, and those aged greater than 10 years, there was a trend for decreasing allelic odds ratio (ie, relative risk of ALL conferred by each copy of the C allele at rs10821936) as age increased: 2.01 (95% CI = 1.85 to 2.19), 1.8 (95% CI = 1.6 to 2.02), and 1.48 (95% CI = 1.3 to 1.68), respectively.
