rs1375144, a SNP in the DPP10 gene, has been reported in a large study to be associated with bipolar disorder.
The risk allele (oriented to the dbSNP entry) is (C) ; the odds ratio associated with heterozygotes is 1.32 (CI 1.07-1.63), and for homozygotes, 1.59 (CI 1.29-1.96). [Note: the 2009 citation below did not see a statistically significant difference between cases and controls for this allele in their study.][PMID 17554300
