Venter's genome sequence reads have always been in Genbank. Are you sure the reads are not released?
The only reads I've ever found had already been made into a consensus, and therefore were not the original reads. Regardless I need genotypes, and the folks at jcvi could provide ss#s, but not rs#s. Cariaso 10:00, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
