However, carriers of a rs4961(T) SNP (a SNP in the ADD1 gene) who also happen to be rs3731566(G;G) homozgyotes are found to have higher blood pressure (by about 8 mmHg) than if they are carriers of one or more rs3731566(A) alleles.[PMID 15716695]
