Two SNPs in the cGMP-dependent protein kinase II (cGK II) PRKG2 gene, rs7688672 and rs6837293, were found to be associated in 148 matched Taiwanese case:control subjects with gout disease using a recessive model after adjustment of hyperuricemia (odds ratio 2.72, CI: 1.13-6.54).[PMID 18678579]

Note that this was a relatively small study and since the original 2009 publication cited there has not been a publication confirming or replicating the finding. A 2015 paper of Han Chinese (listed below) found no significant association between rs7688672 on it's own and gout sensitivity, however, a haplotype including rs7688672 and a linked SNP had a weak association.
